Fall is here, and the weather can’t make up its mind. Most mornings, the temperature outside tricks us into thinking it is finally cozy, sweater weather, but then by lunch it’s practically summertime. I promise, no one is conspiring against you. It’s just that tricky fall transition weather.
So how can you be ready for when the temperature swings between chilly and sweltering, especially when you are heading to your favorite workout class? Balance is the key to transitioning your athleisure from summer to fall. Check out these looks from Alala to find that balance and shorten the all too often internal monologue on what to wear to and from the studio this fall.
Keep it cool
Most would agree that the hardest part about transitioning to fall are the days when it still feels like summer. Be prepared for those unexpected hot days by wearing athleisure that provides a good base to build from. Opt for fabrics like nylon and polyester, which wicks away moisture and dries quickly. If you are very active, these fabrics also resist piling and are breathable (depending on the tightness of the weave pattern).
Pop of color
Fall colors don’t always have to be dark. Though I love the all black NYC aesthetic, a pop of color can go a long way! Stand out in this icy blue Alala Block Bra + Vamp Tights fit. This bold look is perfect for bringing the heat in the studio.
If you follow my Instagram, you probably see me regularly wear this particular fit to and from the studio. The Alala Barre Seamless Bra + Seamless Tight fit is both lightweight and comfortable, but strong enough to perform in my toughest of classes (shout out to Hot Athletic Yoga). If you prefer more support, I recommend the Alala Essential Seamless Bra.
What’s even better is that these styles come in a variety of colors! No matter which you pick, this seamless fit goes on so smooth and has the right amount of stretch so that it has a flattering fit on every body. I’m not kidding — this truly is my favorite athleisure fit that I own!
Keeps it under wraps
Athleisure isn’t just for the studio. It is also perfect for chilling at home, running errands, or even to work! On chillier days, opt for the Alala Rise Infinity Scarf that doubles as a fashion statement and a v useful office blanket (for when the AC won’t quit).
Follow these tips and you won’t be sweating it, except for in the studio. If you are interested in other athleisure styles from Alala, check out alalastyle.com!
